Obedience Training in a Group Setting

Are you ready for your dog to be a well behaved member of the family and listen to you? Are they friendly with other dogs and people? A Group class might be for you!

We have group classes available in Shoshone and in Hansen.

What you’ll learn

In this class we’ll teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog on what you want them to do and get them listening with out hassle. By the end of class you’ll be able to go on walks without your dog pulling you, have your dog come to you when you call them, and relax on cue in our Sit, Down, and Place commands.

We’ll go over these commands;

  • Heel
  • Come
  • Place
  • Sit / Automatic sit with heel
  • Down – Stay

We’ll also answer any questions you have about specific problems your dog has such as jumping, chewing, counter surfing…etc…

Important Information

  • Your dog must be up to date on their vaccinations
  • Your dog must be friendly towards other dogs and people (If you have a dog that’s not, please look into our private lessons)
  • Your dog should be 5 months or older
  • Classes last about an hour
  • Shoshone Classes take place at the Shoshone Fair Grounds
  • Hansen Classes take place at Good Neighbor Dog Training Facility in Hansen; 3849 north 3700 east, Hansen ID 83334 (Some GPS Systems have trouble finding it, so let me know if you need directions)

Price; $125.00 to start. Includes 1 Private Lesson before you start in group class, and 4 days of group class. If you would like to continue with class to further your dog’s training it is $25.00 per day of class you attend.

You’ll need;

  • Herm Sprenger Prong Collar – Micro2.25mm3mm (Ask me if you’re not sure which size you’ll need. You’ll need to order these online, they are NOT available in stores! The stores around here sell a cheaper brand which break easier and have sharp tips. Herm Sprenger has nice rounded tips on the collar so they don’t hurt the dog.)

  • Dog Bed, Blanket, or Dog Cot
